The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at our Ennis, TX facility. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, and skilled at driving production efficiency while fostering a strong team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all plant operations with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity
- Ensure all employees follow safety procedures and operate equipment correctly
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of plant equipment
- Develop and execute daily production plans to maximize efficiency
- Manage labor, schedules, and workflow to meet production goals
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and operational reports
- Partner with the General Manager on hiring, training, and coaching team members
- Approve timecards and manage PTO documentation
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or plant environment (or related degree)
- 5+ years of management experience in a people-driven operation
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency with MS Excel and related business systems
- Knowledge of plant equipment and tooling best practices

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and grow new business opportunities throughout the Midwest.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and suppliers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and logistics teams to guarantee timely delivery and superior customer experience.
- Track market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead.
- Consistently exceed sales targets and manage accurate forecasting via CRM tools.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of proven sales success in plastics recycling or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of plastic grades, recycling processes, and applications.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect and close new business while nurturing existing relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, competitive, and capable of managing a multi-state territory independently.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout the Midwest.
